At Matjar Al-Basha, we offer the world’s most preferred brands and products, listed prices on the website are all inclusive, no surprises or additional fees upon delivery.

Order Edits & cancellations

You can request an edit to your order or a full cancellation at any point before the order is paid. No changes can be made to your order once it has been paid for.

Order Refunds & Returns

We do our best to keep our customers happy. Depending on the status of the order, please refer to the list below to see the corresponding policy:

  • Items that are no longer available.
    If the item that was paid for is no longer available on the website our support team will contact the customer by email with the following options:
    • A Replacement Link: The customer can send an item link via email to our support team at [email protected] as a replacement for the original item. The replacement price and weight should be within the limit of the original item's price and weight.
    • Credit: The full item price (including shipping, fees and local taxes), if applicable, will be added as a credit on the customer's account to be used with future orders.
    • Refund: Cash refunds is only available in certain cities in Jordan (our support team will provide the customer with the full details). Cash refunds are applicable to orders with a values of 30 JOD and above. A copy of the customer's ID is required to arrange the refund.
  • Items that have not been shipped from their supplier.
    Matjar Al-Basha support team follow up on all orders to make sure they are shipped on time from their suppliers, if an item wasn't shipped on the expected date due to any problem from the seller's side, the Order will be canceled and the customer with be contacted to choose one of the following options:
    • A Replacement for the same Item: If available with the same price.
    • A Replacement Link: The customer can send an item link via email to our support team at [email protected] as a replacement for the original item, the replacement price and weight should be within the limit of the original item's price and weight.
    • Credit: The full item price (including shipping, fees and local taxes), if applicable, will be added as a credit on the customer's account to be used with future orders.

  • Items that have been lost in shipping.
    Items may be lost while in-transit. Since Matjar Al-Basha is not a mailing or logistics company, this is usually an error that is out of Matjar Al-Basha's control. If an item takes longer than the expected time to arrive to its destination, the customer will be notified that a delay has occurred in relation to one of the items in the order, the available options are:
    • A Replacement for the same Item: If available with the same price.
    • A Replacement Link: The customer can send an item link via email to our support team at [email protected] as a replacement for the original item, the replacement price and weight should be within the limit of the original item's price and weight.
    • Credit: The full item price (including shipping, fees and local taxes), if applicable, will be added as a credit on the customer's account to be used with future orders.
    • Refund: Cash refunds is only available in certain cities in Jordan (our support team will provide the customer with the full details). Cash refunds are applicable to orders with a values of 30 JOD and above. A copy of the customer's ID is required to arrange the refund.
  • Items that have been delivered to customers.

    Products on Amazon, eBay & Ali Express are sold by different sellers around the world, Matjar Al-Basha does not guarantee these items in terms of quality, however we do guarantee the quality of our services in terms of shipping of the items to your address as well as our after sale service for defective or wrongly received items.

    Any problem or defect must be reported to Matjar Al-Basha support team within 3 business days from the day of delivering the package. The compensation must be approved by Matjar Al-Basha support team, based on the status of the item as per the below:

    Damaged or wrongly received items: An email with a photo for the damaged item should be sent to the support team at [email protected]. Within 2 business days the support team will evaluate the case and get back to the customer with one of the following options:

    • A partial or full credit to be added on the account for future orders, in this case Matjar Al-Basha team might need to arrange for picking up the item before issuing the credit.
    • A partial or full cash refund: If the Cash Refund service is available in the customer's city, the support team will arrange for it and might need to arrange for picking up the item before issuing the Cash Refund.
    • A replacement for the same item: Matjar Al-Basha will order a replacement upon the customer's confirmation, we might need to arrange for picking up the item before ordering the replacement item. Matjar Al-Basha offers a one-time replacement policy and no compensations can be offered if replacements were received damaged/defective.
    • A Replacement Link: The customer can send an email to the support team at [email protected] as a replacement for the original item, the replacement price and weight should be within the limit of the original item, we might need to arrange for picking up the item before ordering the replacement item. Matjar Al-Basha offers a one-time replacement policy and no compensations can be offered if replacements were received damaged/defective.

    All items being returned have to be in the same condition they were received. All packaging, associated tags, and articles must be received in full and evaluated before a compensation is made.

    Items with quality issues: Products received with same specifications/size on orders that did not meet expectations/fit are not covered by our refund/returns policy. Products on Amazon, eBay and Ali Express are sold by different sellers around the world, Matjar Al-Basha does not guarantee the quality, we advise our customers to check the rating and previous reviews from other customers on products before placing the order.

    Used/Refurbished items: Compensation policies are not applicable to used or refurbished items.ِ

    Electric devices: Some electric products may have a voltage power different from that of your country. We advise you to check the details on the device before plugging it to your power outlet. Our refund/returns policy does not cover electric devices with a different voltage than that of your country.

    Protection plans and warranties: Protection plans and warranties are not supported through Matjar Al-Basha. Matjar Al-Basha's compensation policy is applied on defected items reported within 3 business days of delivering the package.

Shipping

To clarify, Matjar Al-Basha is not a shipping company or a last-mile delivery company. Our service utilizes the best available established services to manage the freight and delivery services in your local area and to your door. We do our very best to negotiate competitive rates and offer the best prices in the field. Any prices associated with shipment will be clearly disclosed to our customers.

At checkout, all orders made on Matjar Al-Basha will have the final destination address attached to it. With no action needed on the customer's part, the Matjar Al-Basha system will automatically ship all orders to our local U.S. address where they are prepared and serviced for international shipment. Once ready, your order will be shipped to its destination country, where it is evaluated and cleared by customs and duty agents on your behalf.

All Matjar Al-Basha packages will arrive to the destination country in the customer's name.

Delivery

Ready orders and packages will be delivered by our courier partners to the final destination address that you've provided to us. If your items are being shipped from within the United States, the expected time for a final delivery to be made should be 2 - 3 weeks after an order has been successfully paid for. If the items are being shipped from a source that is outside the US, it will take more time. Please note that your orders may arrive in multiple packages depending on the number of merchants that you order from as well as their fulfillment policies.

We try our best to manage and report any delays to the final delivery of a customer's packages. Delays could be due to weather, customs, regulatory, product availability, or shipment issues.

Prohibited, Banned Items & Approvals

Some items may require an approval upon arrival to your country depending on laws within the destination country. These approvals can only be obtained by the customer. This is because most approvals require the beneficiary to sign off on the approval itself, and Matjar Al-Basha cannot carry that out on behalf of customers, nor can provide any compensation for confiscation of unapproved shipments. In the occasion that your order requires any of these, shipment documents will be delivered to you by the local courier and your package will be placed on hold. After obtaining the necessary approval, the approval documents will be picked up from your address to be sent back to customs department to proceed with the normal clearance process.
